Are you experienced with operating heavy equipment and maintaining equipment? Does safety come first? If so, we want to meet you! We're looking for an experienced operator who will spend most of their day operating an articulated John Deere End Loader with 16-foot forks moving automobiles.
What you'll do:
- Primary duty is operating end loader to unloading vehicles off a transporter and throughout the entire production process.
- Assist with staging vehicles that need inventoried in inventory bay.
- Transport all vehicles in and out of dismantling plant.
- Assist with lifting yard vehicles that parts pullers need.
- Pre-inspect, set, and block all vehicles as needed.
- Schedule and complete equipment maintenance and repairs such as pressure washer, waste oil furnace, forklifts, tractors and delivery trucks.
- Manage storage and disposal of used oil, antifreeze, batteries and other scrap material.
- Maintain roadways in yard by road grading when necessary.
- Keep roadways clean of debris and yard in order.
- Assist with moving all car bodies to crush pile.
- Assist with snow removal so business can continue as normal as possible, this may require working earlier or later than your normal shift.
What we're looking for:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years heavy equipment experience
- Valid drivers license with clean motor vehicle record
- Must put safety first and be a great team leader
Schedule:
- Monday - Friday, 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
